Thank you all so very much for the prayers you have lifted up for me and my physical well being. I am doing so much better. We made it safely to Swaziland where we'll spend the next two weeks. Our team will be exposed to all the different areas of ministry here that we might choose an internship from. Our internships will come into play next semester when we return here. It will be like our job. We will have to put in a certain number of hours per week into this one certain internship. I have an idea what I want mine to be but I'll write about it later in detail when I have a better idea what it will look like. I do know that the Lord has called me to really love on the women here and to serve them. So I am very excited to see what happens with this call on my life.
This is a very sad place. Aids is so prevalent. I believe it is the leading country in the world in HIV/AIDS. So many women are dying from it everywhere. It is different, also in that it is a kingdom, with a king who has 14 or 15 wives. It really is like a different world here. I wish you all could come and experience it, for words cannot give an accurate picture.
Again, thank you for your prayers. I hope by Monday to be back in ministry and back to normal. Keep this land in your prayers as well. I love you all and miss you dearly. Sooner than later I will be making my way home for Christmas with lots of authentic African presents!
