So many of you have supported me and continue to support myself and my ministry with monetary donations. For this, I cannot express my grattitude. I just wanted to let you all know some of the ways I am able to bless others with these donations. On Monday, all of the ladies met at the care point to cut fabric for the purses as they normally do. However, this was no ordinary day because I decided to throw them a Valentines Party. Some of my friends and I made heart-shaped cookies and decorated them with red and pink icing, and we also made heart-shaped cakes for the party. I decorated a little area in the building we meet in with hearts and set out the snacks. The women went crazy; they were so excited just like little kids. It was awesome. I led a Bible study for them first, which is something I have come to look forward to each week, then we had a party! They sang and danced and got in line for the sweeties. It was a great day.

Another example of how the money is being used happend just yesterday. One of the gogos or grandmothers who works at a care point and also makes the purses is Pila. She is so precious and humble; I really like her. She got called away early on Monday from cutting the fabric because her son had died. She had just lost a daughter only a month ago, and now her only son, who provided for her, had also passed away. My heart went out to her in such a deep way. I decided to go and visit her yesterday with Thulie. I wanted to take her something, and Thulie suggested fruit. Pila's family is very poor and fruit is something they can never afford. So I was able to buy two big bags of apples and one bag of oranges for her. I would have bought more if I could have carried it, for it was almost a two hour walk to her house. Once we arrived at her home, I realized how poor she really is. She lives in a mud hut, and her grandchildren were so dirty and half-clothed running around the yard. One little boy who could not be over eight years of age was cooking pop in a big black kettle. Our visit was really good though. The Lord used me to encourage her. I told her that I felt like the Lord was telling me that He is going to meet her needs now and provide for her. I also shared with her the story of Naomi in the Bible, who also lost her sons and husband. The Lord surely provided for her, and I feel that He will do the same for Pila. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.

These are just two examples of many. Daily the Lord uses me in blessing the people here in a number of ways. So thank you again to all who are a part of this, for without your donations I would be much more limited.
