This past week was no doubt an incredible adventure! I would wake up and spend some very precious time in the word, just abiding in the Lord and all that He is. We were dropped off every morning basically at the bottom of ths mountain, with several different villages on it. We would trek into the mountain and minister to the street kids. These kids aren't exactly old enough to go to school yet (and even if they were, they may not be sent) and so they just roam the streets. They really don't know much. They are incredibly isolated. We just try to love on them. We play with them, and hold them. They love to color, and love getting chocolate! Me, Erin Robinson, Katie Movic, Nicole Keen, and Allison Callahan have become great friends. We have grown so close while ministering together. It seems like I have known them for years!

I have managed to meet several incredible African women along the journey. Some of them are believers, while others are not. Some of them suffer from AIDS, while others give their lives away to make others lives better. I am learning so much. Not only from the Lord, and from my team, but also from the African people who I am getting to spend time with. I absolutely just love holding the little babies and loving on these kids. These women in these villages are so strong. They go through so much. We helped them carry water from the well to their house the other day. It wore me out, yet they do it all of the time! It really does seem that the normal/average believer here would be considered a radical believer back in the states. It is so encouraging and challenging.

Church this past Sunday was one of the coolest things I have ever experienced. They all gave us hugs and treated us so well. They were so alive and so full of the spirit! The way they love the community and just revere the Lord in all that He is is so incredible. I have grown to love many things about the culture here. The Church is so brilliant and alive here. It's incredibly refreshing.

There is no way on earth I could even scratch the surface on here of what I am learning. The Lord is constantly teaching me new and amazing things. Praise GOD! He alone is worthy. Please just read this blog and see how the Lord is using me! Be encouraged. The Lord wants to use you in mighty ways! ALLOW HIM TO USE YOU! There is nothing more fulfilling then giving him the glory He deserves!
