Hello precious loved ones!
Please just know that from my heart I sincerely thank all of you whom have supported me in this, both physically and spiritually. I love you guys, and your prayers are protecting me no doubt. Spiritual warfare is very real here, unlike anything I have ever experienced. I say that out of excitement being on the victorious side! I see the Lord's light beginning to shine in this dark area, and it is beautiful to behold. I am constantly amazed that He chooses to use me, to work through me and love me this much. It is very humbling. I'm growing to love these people of this culture so much. I pray for Christ's heart of compassion and love; and He is blessing me with that more and more.
I have still been in the very poor township, Atteridgeville, this week and will remain there next week as well. We are already seeing fruits of our ministry there.
Our friend Francina, who is not a believer, is reading the Bible we gave her and asking lots of questions about hard things. I really believe we will get to see her come to Christ soon. Also, our Friend Alice, who is a believer is having big things happen in her life. Her husband, who use to forbid her from going to church, is changing now. I feel that Christ is beginning to reign in her house for the first time. Her husband does not protest to her going to church anymore. We pray for his salvation. And last, the beautiful and wild little "street children." They have my heart. I love them deeply. They are between the ages of 3 and 6 and just run the streets all day long. We are loving on them so much though and teaching them English and songs like "Jesus Loves Me" and just showing them His king and pure love.
I'm really sad to leave these wonderful people next week. I hope to get to see them again. Please pray for this area and my sweet friends. Some of the childrens' names are: Eunice, Katoo, Treasure, Ahgee, Cipeeway, and McClaudy. I'm not sure about the spelling but please pray for them by name. Especially little Katoo; she's a beautiful little 6-year-old girl who is being abused by her parents. We are praying for wisdom to help out in this situation.
